Who rings these lines?
"So if you married a woman who moved your dead daughter's body to the Common, covered up for your evil son killing said daughter, didn't tell you for almost 12 months and then lies under oath in Court to try and get the accused man found innocent then you need to ring a 'phone number....."

Lol, but I honestly think it is for desperate people contemplating suicide rather than folk whose lives could be played out in a soap drama.

Yes on a serious note it is for those who are feeling like that, but the way the announcer said it just made me write that post. I hope no one is upset by my banter

Haha! Funny enough I said this to MrL after we'd watched it: "well I didn't find out that my son killed my daughter, that my other half (then ex) had "carried her like a child" (i.e. dragged her like a sack of taties) to the common dumping her like like a used crisp packet. I haven't been covering up for them ever since nor sat back and done nothing while my half-brother was originally arrested and then my neighbour too who was eventually found guilty of the crime my son committed, therefore I haven't then felt the need to hoy myself off a bridge. So no EE, I can't relate to Ian's plight in any shape or form!!!!" smiley-yikes
Glad it wasn't just me going "eh?" free-indifferent-smileys-697 We laughed!
... then I realised that Shabnam also featured tonight and felt shame faced redface4 But Ian? Nah, not a hope. I never thought I'd say this but I wouldn't have given a stuff if he'd thrown himself off, I'd have wanted Jane to follow him!

Didn't especially notice last night but i do remember laughing when one came up on Boxing Day, especially as i had just finished explaining the plot to my Dad - who only ever see it at Christmas and had been ignoring it until Mick smashed the Vic up.
I remarked "oh yes, if you've just found out that your nephew is actually your brother and has raped your wife (who isn't your wife), you mum who is your gran has just turned up with Alzheimers and your Dad (Grandad) is dying of Cancer and would like you to speed the process up - pleas call this number"!
