Drat! He was easy on the eye if nothing else lol! I was intrigued by KitKat's description of him as a bit of tom cat who wants to spray all the females ( smiley-biglaugh that did make me laugh!) so I was looking forward to when he tried using his charm on Lady C! smiley-biglaugh Plus he's young and fit so should have been good in the more physical trials (he was OK last night in the critter one). Shame

Very odd that they haven't given a reason for Spencer's exit on the actual show. Have they ever not given at least a brief explanation before? Including family deaths or medical reasons.
It's a shame, i do find Spencer quite entertaining and he did well yesterday.

Agree, I didn't know him from Adam as I don't watch any of those Reality Shows but he did seem keen and quite an okay chap.

Not on it myself but Twitter seem to be saying that it is drugs related. Either he is suffering withdrawal (which would be a medical issue) or he'd smuggled some in and been caught.
Them dismissing it so quickly with ne explanation does seem very suspicious, indicating they maybe can't talk about it if there are legal implications.
He does, perhaps unsurprisingly given his background, have history with Drugs.

When Ant said near the end it was fair to both teams, I was shouting at my telly 'Fair my Geordie A@@e! hit-smileys

I reckon Spencer was caught with a stash, that's the only explanation for the swift way A&D announced he had left and would not be returning and there was no footage of the campmates discussing his departure, which they would have done. No doubt we will read about it soon in the Daily Star/Mirror/Sun. What an idiot and a shame as I was beginning to warm to him. How could that uneven team be 'fair' with some having to go twice to drink the obnoxious stuff and be dunked? Ant and Dec with their sanctimonous grinning sometimes really get on my nerves.
We were saying its interesting that the zelebs in the Jungle always seem to bond and make real friendships yet when they are in the CBB house they are at each others throats most of the time with lots of conflict.

Spencer Matthews has come clean - Steroids.
He started taking them to bulk up for a planneed Charity Boxing match a few weeks ago. He says he intended to come off them gradually but hadn't the time to do so between getting the call to go into the Jungle and actually going in. He fessed up shortly after arriving that he was still on them and was told he needed to leave which he argued against.
I wonder whether it was his dishonesty in not telling them from the starte which has really pissed them off (because they clearly are) or just that Steroids would have given him an unfair advantage over other camp mates? But wouldn't that be true of anybody that is physically much stronger? No matter how they've achieved it? Not that i'm saying they should have let him take them whilst in there and I guess the dangers of sudden withdrawal would go against their duty of care.

It is interesting that it seems to be a more positive experience in terms of liking each other.
Do you think it is because they have to band together more? Although it is still going to be very stressful, they don't have to nominate each other for eviction to start with and although, anybody sensible and intelligent will rationalize that everybody has to do it, hey themselves are doing it and even the littlest thing will be used as a reason and you can't be liked by everyone. But it probably does still hurt, especially when there is np way to destruct yourself from dwelling on it.
I also imagine a lot of the time they will resent people that screw up tasks affecting their shopping budget. Of course, you have the trials and tasks in IAC too but generally they are away from base so they don't know how much effort was put in so assume the best. And they are a lot more unpleasant than anything BB makes them do.
Which is another thing. BB may basically havee a more comfortable setting but they are trapped in there, very close to each other. At least 2 peope get to go out for the dingo dollas (or whatever they call it now) each day and it is alternated so that must relieve the tension somewhat.
Perhaps the main difference is that they are not plied with alcohol in the Jungle. Maybe plied is the wrong word, but being given some is probably worse than none because it'll be enough to loosen tongues re any bad feeling and also lead to arguments of "she took my glass, what is she an alcoholic?" debate.
I remember after fight Night BBS, the Producers allegedly asked what they should do to prevent a repeat and we're told by the Shrinks that it was simple, let those that Smoked have plenty of cigarettes and cut down on the Alcohol.

Drat! He was easy on the eye . Shame We still have George. smiley-biglaugh I feel like Social Services will be knocking on my door if i were to even look sideways at George! Spencer;s not exactly old either (27 i think) but i think he's always looked quite mature so even though he can act very young in terms of being a prat, he certainly doesn't appear to be innocent or easily taken advantage of. Bit if an alpha male. It's such a shame he's blown it this way as I think he had the potential to be really good. There is something distinctly likeable about him even when he 'misbehaves'. Glad i made you laugh with the Tom Cat description Lotty. What it is, is shenever a new girl turns up on MIC, he is straight on her whether he is already involved with somebody or he knows one of his friends is also interested, has already asked her out or even been out with her. Especially somebody called Jamie who has a tendency to 'fall in love'. Spencer rarely declares his love, but he has this attitude that if he has ever dated a girl, she should then be off limits to any of his friends - even though he has nearly always cheated on said girl and has such a high 'hit' rate that he's been with virtually every girl in Chelsea. So it seems like his interest, other than the pure sexual aspect, is more about being able to 'claim' them forever more than wanting a full relationship with them. Hope that makes sense.

Lady C is getting on my wick now.
She has an opinion on everything and will never let anything go. Plus really, really rude.
She shouldn't have taken it upon herself to get the Soup, or to decide how it would be used.
She has not had the food deprivation that the other 5 have, knew she was going to have a huge lunch whilst they only had basic rations and the only day she has gone without food, it was due to her deciding not to attempt the challenge - no matter how valid her reasons were psychologically.
