Oh they haven't got Martin Lewis involved now have they? I hate Marting Lewis. Well not him personally, don't know him but his presenting style. It is so earnest and shouty.
I'm actually surprised DS hasn"t erupted into "where's EE? - We're missing an episode" like it usually does even though it happens every year and they've always shown extra episodes in prior weeks so we don't 'miss' one.

For every pound donated to make some brats life better, I'll be matching it with a contribution to make that brats life worse again. That ought to show them. Not all children are brats.

So do none of you care about the children?

It is a very worth while cause Mormon Girl and I hope it raises millions for the charity. I have donated on line, but I just can't bring my self to watch it.

So do none of you care about the children? I think most of us do care about the children Mormongirl but we hate how the celebs are paid huge salaries to present the show. It kind of goes against the grain when we have these very wealthy people (and good for them) asking ordinary people to dig deep into their pockets when we are all living with all the cuts that the government have imposed on the ordinary man. Why don't they tell us how much they have donated, if they actually do? Maybe if they did on live television it would seem a bit more realistic than the contrived format that the BBC put out.

So do none of you care about the children? MG - some people have joked about it but we all care about children. I'm positive nobody wants any child to suffer and as several of us have said, we do donate to the Charity. It is just that a lot of us don't find the actual viewing of the telephon entertaining and also don't like the hypocrisy of very rich famous people lecturing us to give money when they not only earn more money than us generally, but are actually being paid to present the show when you'd think they would donate their time free of charge to increase the money made.

I always like to see money raised to help children in need but as others have said, we have to cope with everyday living costs yet the celebrities earn millions a year and pledge for us to dip into our pockets when you wonder if they donate themselves.

As I've just said on another thread. Not all children are brats all the time. But most probably are some of the time. But then most probably are sweet little things some of the time too!
Most adults display brattish tendancIes some of the time too - it is just human nature. We tend not to be given as much leeway for it though.

Just seen the EE bit. It was quite good, enjoyed it more than the more recent ones but I've got to say Shane Ritchie taking such a central role spoilt it a bit. He is not that good a dancer to take such a pivotal role whenever they do these things and it just always makes me feel that they see him as the 'star' of the show.

So ...
Sir Terry explained: "I'm going to miss our wonderful, inspiring evening together, but I'll be with you, watching, cheering and willing you to a magnificent cause to part you from your loot.
"The British public, as always, will dig deep in their pockets and purses to help the country's disadvantaged children, knowing that every penny will go to those who need it most, mostly me."
What a piece of shit ...

As i say, nearly all children are some of the time, including everybody here when we were children.
