I live this family but feel they have been pushed to the sidelines of late. Shabnams secret child has been pushed to the background and I am fed up of seeing Masoods gambling problems pop up and drop every few moths without actually going anyway.
ifound it bizarre that Shabnam went from not being able to commit to Kush to then freaking out that they weren't engaged. It was madness. I want to see them getting to know each other as a couple rather than committing to anything too serious just yet.
I have a feeling that Bonnie L is being brought in as a love interest for Masood, although I hope this is not the case. I wonder if it will tie in with Shabbers not wanting Masood to hook up with a white woman.
I wasn't a big fan of a Zainab return, I liked the character but felt she and Masood went around in circles. However if she was to return you can guarantee that it would mean more screen time for the Masoods and that can only be a positive thing.
Fatima, Masoods sister in law gets mentioned a lot so I wonder if she will appear at some point. She previously appeared as a named extra for one or two episodes.

I actually want Zainab to return. Not only was it more bearable to see her and Masood break up/get back together than, say, Max and Tanya (yawn), but she also managed to make the Masoods much more interesting. I thought Shabnam's return would have the same impact, but obviously that never happened.
Tamwar and Nancy just need to get together already. As awkward as they are together at times, Nancy's better off with Tamwar than the likes of Dexter.
And yes, why can't they just reveal Masood's gambling already? I don't like the idea of them finding out when, in the future, Masood may blow all his money and end up broke again or something.

Masood has already lost the families fortunes several times in the past. I would rather they gave him something more to do.
I noticed they brought up Mas' relationships with Jane and Carol and Shabnam displayed her disapproval again. I am certain this is leading to Mas and Bonnie.

Any new love interest for Masood will, as usual, have to be an insecure woman with emotional problems so that she is exceedingly vulnerable. They are the ones he moves in on whilst pretending to be the knight in shining armour. He is a sleazy, manipulating conman. Always looking for someone on the rebound or married to someone else. I absolutely loathe him with a passion.

True, we keep seeing snippets of his gambling addiction and he'll occasionally talk to his kids or Kush, but hasn't done much recently. As long as he and Shirley don't get it on, I'll be happy with a Mas storyline!

Well I think Shirley is busy with Buster, it would be odd if she suddenly developed an attraction for Masood and the characters wouldn't gel in my opinion.
