Surely not? In these days of PC and all that how can they possibly make new Carry-Ons? The whole Carry-On ethic was that they are entirely un-PC.
I dread to think what they'll come up with then. Gone and done with all the sexist gags, mother-in-law jokes, girls wearing next-to-nothing to lure leering old blokes, or ridiculous pairings and situations. Jeez what are we left with after that?

They planned to do it before with the likes of Shane Richie and Vinnie Jones but it fell through. Bewildering they are going into production again,

No one will ever beat the classics Carry On Cleo...."Infamy Infamy - they`ve all got it in for me" Carry on Jack... "What`s that plaque on the deck? That`s where Nelson fell. I`m not surprised, I almost tripped over the blooming thing myself" And my fave quote from Carry On Loving I saw you over at the tobacconists Sidney Bliss chatting up the girl behind the counter. But love, I gotta have my shag. lol

It seems to me that Writers these days can't come up with anything original so just rehash old ideas.

I'm rather suprised to see On the Buses being shown in the late afternoons because you know how sexist that is, but then I guess the PTB are slapping themselves on the back congratulating themselves on being so DARING and hoping some bunch of feminists are too busy demonstrating elsewhere to notice!

Loved the Carry On films with their mixture of saucy seaside postcard innuendo and a kind of innocence of the time. Not quite sure why they are making another two when the previous Carry on Columbus was such a turkey, nearly all the original cast are now dead and it just probably wouldn't appeal to today's stand up very near the knuckle comedy fans. They should just leave them alone IMO.

Some more info about the two new Carry On films. It seems (in my opinion) that they`re pushing the gay agenda to insult both gay and non gay people. And I don`t think it will go over all that well with loyal Carry On fans. What a shame. With the right scripts, it had the potential to be classic slapstick comedies like the other ones of the 50`s, 60`s and 70`s. Still, I could be mistaken, and the films could be funny. I would love to be proved wrong. www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/new-carry-film-tackle-very-8000722
