Really pleased to hear this, I thought Chelsea was a really good addition to the cast the last time she was there and I wondered if they'd have her coming back.
I wonder how her and Lily Chao will get on after the last time? Awkward!
(as an aside something I like about Chelsea personally is that no matter how she feels about ED in reality she always praises her time on the show and says she misses the people when asked which to me is the right way to behave)

As strange as it seems Lottz....I didn`t care much for Chelsea Halfpenny as Amy in Emmerdale. But I really loved her character Alicia in Casualty. So how long will it be before Cal starts sniffing around her? One episode? Two?

Me...Callum...me It seems ages since we saw Casualty. I really hope Connie and Grace pull through. I also hope that the awfulo woman who forced Connie off th eroad will be charged with attempted murder as well as child neglect and endangerment of her daughter.

Honestly Wend it would be a bloomin' miracle if they survived THAT in that little car.

If anyone should get killed off in Casualty - it should be that awful gossipy Robyn. She does my head in aye. She`s a terrible actress too....so wooden.

I agree Lottz (again). Remember the way she talked to Zoe after Zoe`s drunken fling on her hen night? I would`ve sacked her on the spot for that. Also the way she talked about her afterwards and made sure Zoe was in earshot made me furious. In the real NHS she never would`ve made it past her full day for breaking the patient doctor confidentiality. I`m no skinny Minnie myself, but I`m surprised no doctor or nurse has ever mentioned anything to her about her weight. In the crucial moment in resus when a patient is hovering between life and death, Robyn isn`t as fast as her pins as the rest of the staff.

That's what I was thinking about Wend when I said about the way she talked to her superiors. I'll never forget her attitude with Zoe AT WORK, it was disgusting. The woman is unable to behave professionally and it would have cost her her job by now. Yet we're supposed to find it entertaining and even endearing! free-rolleye-smileys-323 But aside from that I just find her pathetic and yes, her weight should be addressed but (according to my niece a nurse in the NHS) they tend not to tackle them about it in case it stirs up a poop storm with the HR possibly getting involved as they're being 'victimised'! It's their human right to be cumbersome and look unhealthy apparently! At my nieces hospital they tend to set up diet support groups hoping that the overweight ones will take the hint lol! But they can't even squeeze between people/things and therefore can slow down the process. She remembers a nursing assistant (forgotten their official name) starting who they didn't even have a uniform big enough to fit, they had to order the UK size 26 uniform in especially! FGS, I'm not fattist at all (size of my arse and thighs I could hardly be lol!), but come on, you have to have some level of fitness in that job and at that size I refuse to believe she could keep up with the slimmer people and could end up being a liability. Can't wait for Saturday though! Even MrL is showing an interest after seeing all the trailers. He thinks {Spoiler} Charlie might die! I hope he's wrong.

There are times like this I`d like us to be over at SC just so I could ♥ your post instead of just liking it. Brilliant post. What your hubby said - I had the same thoughts too the past week or so. Whatever the outcome - the producer and writers are keeping it very close to their chests. And in my opinion that`s how it should be. If we had any spoilers beforehand it would lose all the impact of what has been achieved. I wonder if Tess is back for the show for Charlie`s 20th anniversary...and then coming back permanently if Charlie does die. I know Duffy is coming back permanently though. But she will be in the baby unit mostly more than likely.

Did anyone watch it then? I thought it was great! Yes it had it's faults e.g. at the end of the previous episode it looked like they were dropping hundreds of feet off a gorge and could never survive but in this episode it didn't look anywhere near as far! Also no one that we knew died, the deaths were all unknowns which lessens the impact but I understand that they probably didn't want to make it too maudlin and more of a celebration. Best bits - well, Charley, Duffy and Josh of course but by far the best part for me was Charlie at last putting the walking ego that is Jacob in his place And that horrible Steph woman being run over, I wasn't expecting that one but what great karma That kid going on about nearly killing the 'little girl' conveniently forgetting everyone that he and his drone was kind of responsible for killing was a bit annoying! (though the poor bugger didn't deserve Jacob man-handling him like that). Helicopter stunt was quite good. Great seeing Pam St Clement again. The acting was very good by all and I liked all the little messages from past characters. Can do without that Zoe doppelganger becoming a regular though. I know she eventually came good but I have a feeling she'd be very annoying. Bravo Casualty!

Now I'm not a religious Casualty viewer although I used to be years ago. I tend to watch little bits now and again so know most of the main characters etc.
I did watch the episode leading up to this Anniversary one so knew what had happened. I enjoyed it and thought the helicopter stunt was quite well done, the car crash into Steph well done and shocking but I thought it went on just a wee bit too long.
Interesting that they are going to do a cross-over with Holby which I don't watch either.
