I do hope Rob Donovan gets parole soon. He has shown a lot of remorse for what he did, yet superbitches like Tracy get to walk the streets after just a couple or years or so doing porridge.

The writers, going by how they connect the dots today, may one day make it that Johnny was also Rob's father as well, thus making them full siblings.

58 years ago today, Rita Littlewood appeared for the first time.
Upon her 1972 return they had her as a totally different character as Mrs Bates, hence why she said her maiden name was Foster. But by the spring of 1972, they made her Rita Littlewood.

39 years ago today Eddie and Marion Yeats left the street, although he would return for two episodes in 1987. Eddie last appeared as a regular character at Stan and Hilda's 40 anniversary. He said him and Marian were going in the morning. So we never saw onscreen the teary goodbye as Stan and Hilda waved Eddie off. I think because the episode ended with swimming pool Len's death, the next episode focused on Rita and the famous grieving widow "hairdo stuck upwards and forehead showing" due to "clutching her forehead" look.
