Just watched the brilliant "Lady in the Van" with the wonderful Maggie Smith. Alex Jennings playing Alan Bennett was wonderful. Love this film, but I do like British Films. I Missed it at Christmas when it was on, so bought a copy of the DVD from W H smith in the bargain bucket for £4.99. Worth every penny.
Saturday night TV is pretty crap, a choice of Ant and Flec or "Lets Prance and be an arse for Comic Relief." to_vomit

Started to watch it but got bored. Will maybe give it another try when in the mood. Saturday TV is just garbage on the main channels. I see they are re-playing Line Of Duty on BBC1 as I type obviously in preparation for Series 4 being shown on 1 rather than BBC2.

It would work well on a Saturday night.

I watched 'Lawless' last night which I had recorded off Channel 4 and really enjoyed it. Made in 2012 and starring Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Gary Oldman & Guy Pearce. Based on a true story it is set in Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia, a trio of bootlegging brothers are threatened by a new special deputy and other authorities angling for a cut of their profits. Violent and bloody but good. It was a Tom Hardy double-bill as I then went and watched the last episode of Taboo. icq_smiley_035 Thanks wallis. I`m getting 'Lawless' tomorrow from Netflix. It`s been on a 'short wait' for a few weeks, so as soon as it became available Netflix sent it out this morning.

Last night watched on DVD "London has Fallen" starring Gerard Butler. It was ok, a bit violent and not enough story, but better than watching Ant & Flec or Lets Prance for Comic Relief.
