He really did invent British soaps, without him I really don't think we would ever have got some of the great shows we've had over the years. RIP Tony a truly great man who triumphed in a very difficult era for gay men

RIP Tony. Such a shame to see what his crowning glory has been allowed to become, and an even bigger shame that he'll never get to see if it can be restored to its former glory:( .

RIP Tony, such a shame that since the increase in weekly episodes, your creation has become what it is now. Relies too much on absurd, outlandish storylines.
How could they let Stuart Blackburn loose on Tony's creation?
