Terminator Genisys is coming out in June. I don't know if I'm looking forward to that or not. The first two movies are untouchable but it all started going downhill from the third instalment onwards. They will always hold a nostalgia feeling for me. Zoolander 2 is coming out sometime next year. One of those movies that are so bad that it's good. Haha, I posted the same . I thought Cameron's two movies were perfect. And really there was no need to make a third movie because at the end of Terminator 2, Sarah Connor and co avert Judgement Day from happening. Terminator 3 basically retconned the previous movie by saying they didn't stop Judgement Day, but rather delayed it. Just another example of Hollywood milking the cash cow and ruining a franchise in the process. Loool, Zoolander 2. Seriously?! So very true. Dumb and Dumber To was another "so bad, it's good" movie. I mean is the world really crying out for another Zoolander or Dumb and Dumber movie? I just can't believe they would make a sequel to such rubbish movies. The depths Hollywood will sink to make some money.

There's a Poltergeist remake (I'll give that a chance), Terminator Genisys and I believe there's a film based on Edward Snowden coming out later this year too. Not fussed about Ant-Man, I can take it or leave it. Lol, oh god, will the remakes never stop? Ah yes, Terminator Genisys (can't they spell Genesis?). I think that's in a similar position to Jurassic Park. The franchise began going downhill once James Cameron moved on. The last two films weren't very good. But unlike Jurassic, I think it has more of a following amongst sci-fi fans, so it will probably be a success at the box office even if the movie ends up being rubbish. I'm not sure what they are trying to with this movie - it's been described as a sequel and a reboot... what does that mean? Apparently they're going to change the Terminator timeline from the first movie. Which sounds like a huge mistake. I will reserve judgement though until I see it. Great to have Arnie back in the franchise though! Ant-Man? Seriously? There's actually a superhero called Ant-Man? The worst name for a superhero lol. First I've heard of him! I will check it out. I doubt I will watch it though I hate it when movies try too hard to be too many things at once. It's a sequel, a prequel, a reboot and probably a ton of other things too! I like the fact that Arnie's returning, but that's about it. I'll give the film a chance, but I don't have high hopes. As for Ant-Man, he apparently shrinks down to the size of an ant and gets the strength of...an ant. Iron Man's shaking in his tin suit, Thor's hanging up his cape and even the Hulk's gone into hiding in fear of the powerful force that is Ant-Man!!

I have little hopes for Ant man, they had a lot of production issues what with Edgar Wright quitting.

Anybody watched the new James Bond movie?
Actually was a bit disappointed with it. Wasn't as good as it should've been. It felt like a bog standard Bond movie.
The return of Bond's oldest nemesis Blofeld should've made for an epic movie. Oh well.
Let's hope the new Star Wars movie doesn't disappoint. That's the next movie on my Watch List.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the last Bond film as usually I can take or leave them......so I will see the latest one. I just wish Daniel Craig would add some humor or wit to his performance.

Loved the London Olympics opening with Bond stopping at Buckingham Palace to escort the Her Majesty.....and her very unusual Olympics entrance. Had to be seen to be believed.

I wasn't a fan of Spectre at all... half the plot was linked to intricate details of the last three movies that no one can remember or cares about. The most interesting part of it for me were the MI6 machinations and power struggles, but that was glossed over a lot. The female characters were terribly weak, even for a Bond movie.
I think it's time for new blood. Daniel Craig has done two great Bond films Casino Royale and Skyfall, but Quantum and Spectre are pretty bad. Time to call it quits. New director and new Bond for the next one!
The saving graces of it where Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris as M, Q, and Moneypenny.

I am so excited for Star Wars. Annoyingly I think I've worked most details of the plot out from rewatching all the trailers a few times, but it looks set to be a great movie, in solid hands with JJ at the helm.

I agree about Spectre, J-B. Pretty disappointed with the film given all the hype. It should've been epic with the return of Bond's most famous villain - Blofeld. Yet, it just felt like a bog-standard Bond film. And yes, I hated how they tried to link Blofeld to the past three films, that he was the "author" of Bond's pain as he says. It felt so contrived and convenient. It's like something DTC would do on EastEnders . I'm starting to wonder if DTC wrote the movie .

Ahead of Star Wars opening on Friday, I want to get my plot predictions written down so I can see if I was close from watching the trailers, or completely off. *Potential spoilers may lie ahead, don't read if you don't want things spoiled.* {Click for spoilers} - The theme of the movie is 'everything old is new again', this is important for a number of reasons.
- Rey is the main character. She's good at fixing and building things, thinks herself ordinary, and lives on a desert planet with no real family around her... Sound familiar? Everything old is new again.
- John Boyega's character Finn will be Rey's love interest. He'll die.
- Rey is the child of Han Solo and Leia.
- Kylo Ren (the villain) is Rey's brother / possibly twin, so also Han/Leia's child. He's obsessed with Vader because he is Vader's grandson, and has fallen to the dark side to 'finish what he started'. He built his own weird amateur lightsaber (again, good with fixing/building things, runs in the Skywalker family. Everything old is new again.)
- Luke is in exile, hence why he is absent. My guess is he was responsible for training Kylo, but failed when Kylo fell to the darkside, so exiled himself. He'll turn up in the last 20 minutes of the film to do some crazy lightsaber battles.
- Rey is sent to 'Jakku', the desert planet, to protect her from Kylo. Just like Luke before her. Everything old is new again.
- Jakku, the planet that has been categorically denied multiple times as being 100% not Tatooine - is Tatooine. The primary reason for it not being Tatooine is that Tatooine has two suns, whereas all the Jakku trailer footage shows one sun...
- The superweapon the First Order are building is called Starkiller Base. It doesn't destroy planets like the Death Star before it, it destroys stars... like say,
Jakku Tatooine's second sun, which was used as a test run. Starkiller Base is the ice planet, there'll be a huge scene of it shedding its icy exterior to reveal the superweapon beneath it. - Either Han or Leia won't survive the film, setting up Luke and Rey nicely to go all crazy lightsabers on Kylo in Episode 8.
You heard it here first
