Lol, looks like you have the whole movie figured out, J-B . I've purposefully avoided any spoilers and trailers. I'm gonna read your predictions after I watch the movie . Are you going to see Deadpool TK? Should be going this week. Yes! Definitely watching Deadpool on Saturday. I've been looking forward to its release. The trailers look really funny. About time we had a more humorous take on superheroes.

Cool. Can't wait to watch it. I'd love to see Deadpool turn up in an Avengers movie. It's a shame Marvel don't hold the movie rights to Deadpool.

Is Deadpool good? I've got major superhero franchise fatigue... the relentless Marvel and DC films over the last 5-7 years have completely diluted the genre for me

So many terrible and derivative movies in the cinema these days...
I ended up watching "Pet Semetary" yesterday with some work friends... it was bland, not awful, but I expected more genuine scares from a movie based on a famous horror novel. The scary parts were all very predictable. Shame really as this is one of my favourite Stephen King stories. They just can't seem to get Stephen King adaptations right on the big screen (with the exception of "The Shining", "Misery" and more recently "It"). Still, I suppose it's better than the original Pet Semetary movie which I hated.
Is it me or have TV Dramas overtaken Movies? There's some quality TV shows out there throughout the year. By contrast, you'll be lucky to find a quality movie to watch once a year! It's like finding a needle in a haystack! All we get now are Superhero movies... don't get me wrong, I like them, but I like to watch other movies too.

Look forward to the new 'Joker' movie, it seems different than the typical comic book movies as it doesn't feature men/women in costumes fighting supervillains, but is rather a gritty psychological thriller. Seems like something I can really relate to. The reviews have been positive, so hopefully it won't disappoint. If successful it could mean some new comic book movies going in a different direction than the same old superhero movies we have been getting for the past several years, and it might put DC back in the spotlight as they won't feel the need to go down the same path as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I was just about to mention 'Joker'... have you watched the movie yet, Nathan? I keep forgetting to go to the cinema... hopefully I'll go this weekend. The reviews seem good. Some people appear to have got their knickers in a twist about the film's violence... but this is a movie about a psychopathic clown with ultra-violent tendencies... so what were they expecting? If there's one comic book villain that deserves his own movie - it's Joker. In my eyes, he's one of the best cinematic villains ever, if not the best (better than the likes of Darth Vader and Voldemort). I wonder how Joaquin Phoenix's Joker will compare to Heath Ledger's Joker, who did a brilliant interpretation of the character in "The Dark Knight".
