That Ged bloke (James Gaddas) is rumoured to be Vannessa`s Dad. I wonder if he will be a permanent character? If Dross is brown bread then there is a vacancy for a bad `un

Eric's resentment of Diane grows.I thought I'd feel sorry for Eric but it sounds like (and I'm jumping to conclusions) that he's going to resent Diane because she went first and left Val in there. free-rolleye-smileys-323 a) Diane was the closest to the lone fire officer. b) Val TOLD her to go (though I bet he accuses Diane of making that one up) c) She's older than Val* so why shouldn't she go first? She didn't realise there was a piece of glass hovering over her sister did she? Val didn't exactly say! (* didn't realise Diane was supposed to be that much older than Val though until she said 'I practically brought you up' - I honestly thought there was only about 4-5 years at the most!) Eric is starting to get right on me bristols. Of course it could be something else completely that he's getting resentful about (e.g. she's taken it on herself to organise the funeral?) and I've got the above wrong - as per

So we can blame Diane for making Valoween the hag that she was? Poor Diane. And that appalling Raychel is FINALLY leaving too, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY at bloody last!!!! I suppose she'll be run out of town by the hard men of the Dungles for clouting Simple Sam once too often, but will she leave with her kid or will My Son win the day to snatch him off her? Still he might have other stuff on his mind now thanks to Megan dropping that bombshell on him last night and then he's got to break the news to the tart LAYla who thinks they are going to swan off together into the sunset hand in hand. Poor misguided old doris she is

I've just seen the news that Ross IS the final village stiff! It appears that after identifying their dead son, James & Emma get it on and decide to make a go of it again raking over the old coals. So the lovely Chas is gonna be dumped AGAIN! oh and No Sons is angry to discover that Megan proposes to houseshare with simple Sam so she's not going anywhere soon. He tries to evict them but incurs the wrath of Rishi who points out that Jai's shenanigans are going to cost the family business unless he pulls his finger out, so No Sons answer to this? He decides to sell cocaine again to make the payroll for the week, finds he's not very successful any more then offers Kirin the chance to earn a few quid for his pop business by flogging the muck to his college mates!!! He assuages Kirins misgivings by informing him that Rakesh is in no position to lecture about it as he and Jai did precisely the same thing years ago. Oh dear..............

I'd like to know why those cretins at Useless Soap Coppers HQ still have not realised that someone had locked the place from the outside thus trapping Diane and Valoween inside with no escape route. (Should'nt there have been an emergency escape door btw?) Plus those travelling sideshows are only made from panels of pretty thin wood because they need to be easy to pack up and move to the next event therefore two women could have broken out of there easily, in fact Valoween's squawking & moaning would have shattered the wood anyway And also, Diane usually doesn't come across as entirely thick so surely she must have thought twice about the idiots who thought it hilarious to lock her and the old bag inside the sideshow rather than say to sleazy Doug that it didn't matter? Granted nobody was to know that a chunk of helicopter was going to drop onto the sideshows but if they hadn't been locked inside by those fools as some hilarious jape instigated by Eric then Valoween would still be hectoring him instead of getting ready to join Him Downstairs where she will never need that god awful sheepskin coat EVER again.

As usual taking no responsibility for anything. Does he not realise that if they hadn't been so utterly stupid and irresponsible locking Val and Di in that place she might have been alive now? Someone needs to forcibly point this out to the silly old bugger

Indeed they do. Maybe Lawrence should have a word in that red shell-like of his and then turn it into a cauliflower earhole for him?
Valoween's death is as much Eric's fault as it is Chrissie's but possibly this is why he is actively blaming everyone else EXCEPT himself, because he KNOWS it was down to his hilarious "gag" that the old baggage got kebabed in the Hall of Mirrors (or House of Horrors with her in it). Eric never accepts guilt, responsibility nor blame for anything he does thus he needed to find someone else to take the guilt for it.

I`m prepared to give Eric the benefit of the doubt for now. I have visions of Eric and Diane arguing, then like all soap plot device patent #567 they move in for a kiss, then the next scene is them in bed together. This stuff just writes itself.
