Loved the way they got doddery old octagenarian Ken to get up on ladders and put up the bunting! I suppose it gives him something to do though. How rough is Leanne, like a good Muslim boy would propose to that specimen and his family would approve? Yeah right. Only in Cloud Cuckoo Land Corrie. Whats all the Rovers draped in net curtains circa 1985 about? Looks like Miss Haversham's boudoir.

All this talk about Kal wanting to marry Leanne (poor bloke). His whole life ahead of him, everyone suddenly approves of Leanne now. All so sweet, I just hope nothing terrible happens to him during this week.

Why was Tony ever a choice for Steve's best man smiley-yikes By the way, who was actually driving? They all seemed to be drinking smiley-huh Steve and Lloyd weren't exactly bessie mates at the time and I think he felt he owed it to Tony as he'd lent him all that money and was paying for the wedding.
As none of them probably have a licence to drive a minibus, unless Lloyd does, I guess they'd hired someone.
I was wondering about Michelle's mum and dad and if they'd be coming and sure enough they turned up.

You do not need a special licence to drive a minibus with up to 16 passengers . Your driving licence will do. I've driven one with students.
Anyway,we never saw a driver and we saw them all get on and off the bus. Lloyd is part owner of a minicab firm and the firm owns a minibus. Seems logical ( well, to me anyway) that he would drive it plus it was a last minute decision that they decided to go without Steve and then they all got on the bus.

I assumed it was Lloyd driving but then he got slaughtered so I was a tad confused. As Steve was too upset at the idea of travelling in a mini bus and they all wanted to drink why not just get taxis smiley-huh I'm sure there's a taxi firm in Coronation Street free-rolleye-smileys-323 It was a very weird story all round.

No , because a mini bus would be more comfortable as there were 5 of them if Steve had gone . That is probably why they chose that over a cab. Didn't he take off into town on his own by the time they met together.I can't remember where he was.

Not since "it doesn't matter that there aren't enough lifeboats, the Titanic is unsinkable" has there been such heavy handed foreshadowing.

When is it going to get good? A bit rubbish to be honest. Even the red head and Noza wern't funny. Hopefully tommorow with the big stunt will finally turn things around.

They're laying it on equally as thick in the foreshadowing stakes with Maddie and Sophie. How many scenes of them going on and on and on about their new flat and new life have we had?
The Jenny Bradley stuff is more entertaining than the whole Tracy/Carla thing which I just can't buy into. Some shoddy build-up happening.
I'm glad the fire is an accident though (albeit a very stupid and preventable one) as it means that Tracy's development over the past year hasn't completely gone to pot, and with it looking almost certain to be curtains for Kal I think the champagne should be on stand-by. smileys-cheers-249214

I couldn't make sense of some of this. Can't recall how Tracey got hold of Carla's keys and why did she go in, look around, light a candle and go out again ?? Why light a candle ?
Wait till she finds out Amy is sleeping there !
The build up of the happiness of Kal and Leanne and Sophie and Maddie is all so contrived and so bleedin' obvious. We don't need a crystal ball to know what is going to happen even without the spoilers .

I couldnt believe how Tracygurn even got into Carla's flat. Oh I know we had the contrived little scene with "the keys are in my bag" but no upmarket block of flats front door is just opened by a key these days, it would have a PIN or even a security guard. I dont why she even lit the candle anyway either, although of course blame is going to fall on Amy who also quite contrivedly went to stay with Carla who has had no interaction with the girl that I can remember? What happened to Grandad Ken who usually always has her?
