Has Steve even invited Andy to the wedding? I suppose he could feel embarrassed about asking him to be best man, I mean how many times has he been best man for him already smiley-biglaugh At least Lloyd was an improvement on Tony. Why was Tony ever a choice for Steve's best man smiley-yikes The whole stag do was beyond weird. I thought a fitting end might have been for Lloyd to drunkenly fall off the boat and drown. Well I'd have enjoyed it anyway s0275 By the way, who was actually driving? They all seemed to be drinking smiley-huh I take it as a girl Shezza, you have never been on a stag do or are not ofay with the remit of one...
The whole point of a stag do is... that every bloke cops off... If your lucky she's a babe... if your unlucky it's a munter... Anyhow... any hole's a goal and if she has a gaff... No need to drive home...
I find that a PMA helps in these situations...

Such nice mates. Steve has depression, was obviously panicking getting on the minibus so they go off and get sloshed without him. You know, instead of finding him and asking how he was and maybe going into town. You know Steve, if you need a best man, how about calling, oh I don't know - YOUR BROTHER? But then they'd have to bring the actor who played his brother back and that would be FAR too much trouble for them *roll eyes* (at TPTB not you). I wonder if Andy will even be mentioned as I'm not expecting him to turn up at the wedding (mind you, considering Steve's number of weddings is inching towards double figures he might be forgiven for thinking "nah, I'll miss this one and go to the next one" . I think Liz forgets she's got another son too. Anyone know if the Andy character was axed or the actor wanted to leave? EDIT: forgot to say spot on about the so-called mates just going off and leaving him too. But then we wouldn't have had the 'hilarity' of Lloyd ending up as a stowaway on that Norwegian ship. Oh my sides. Andy was axed. Funnily enough the last time Andy appeared was when Steve married Becky, and he told Steve to try and make that marriage last. Now two weddings later...

I am liking the whole setup for next week. I don't know about anyone else, but I enjoy Tracy's scenes with Todd, they make a good pair.
I liked her reference to playing her tapes as well.

Just who can buy a pub in a week and who can become a licensee in a week ? Tracey had hoped to see her name above the door !!!
Off Tony and Liz trot to sign the contract and Carla jumps in and gazumps them, gets a new contract drawn up with her name on it then comes back the new part owner of a pub without even having met her partner, the "invisible" Mr Travis. So who is the licensee now ? This whole storyline makes no sense. I have never understood how Tony was going to pull this scam off.
Does anyone else think that this is cloud cuckoo land ?
Wonderful "solicitors "who can get a contract ready in that time, all the searches etc then get new contract drawn up in the office In less than an hour. Get me their name and I will use them next time I move house. praising-the-lord-smiley-emoticon

Yep it was all turned around in about 24 hours from Carla suddenly deciding she would buy into the Boozer, raising the thousands needed, getting solicitors to investigate and draw up all the documents ready to sign - what DID Liz look like smoking a fag propped up on Tony's van with that skirt up her backside? I am looking forward to her finding out her "rock" has been trying to shaft her all along.

I'm looking forward to it too, just to see that smug grin wiped off of her boat race and replaced with one that resembles a wet weekend in Morecambe...
I feckin loath Liz McMutton with a passion...

Loved Tracey Luv's description of Tony. 'Builders arm pits and a bold head.' Just about sums him up.

Not a BGT fan myself but I do quite like Corrie being on at 9pm.
I know Jenny is nuts but I happen to think she had a point about the suit. It wasn't unreasonable to ask that it may taken off to keep nice for later, little kids do spill all the time. Not only do they not take it off round the house, they take him out to play in the Yard?

I agree. As soon as they came in with Jack's suit all muddy I was furious when they started justifying their actions. They were asked to keep him clean and they didn't show any remorse. Why didn't Kevin support her ? I certainly don't think Jenny was over-reacting despite knowing what she is like.

A solid start to the week, a little underwhelmed, but I am sure it will be unmissable by Wednesday.
