I don't know about anyone else but I was a bit dubious about Richard Blackwood joining EE but I have been pleasantly surprised by his ability. It is hard to believe that his first couple of scenes were in live week in February. It seems to me as if he has been in the soap for much longer. He just seems to have bedded in so well and his character is really quite believable, menacing but with a soft touch too. It also helps that he a bit of eye candy.

Same here.
I've never been a fan of his and thought I'd hate him in EE but I'm enjoying his character. Quite liking him with Donna too which I also couldn't see.
The one I'm loving most of all though is baby Pearl, she's an absolute darling and I want her!

I like Vincent, nice to see a Hubbard in the show, the surname of an old schoolfriend I first met in 1986 who I used to have sleepovers with.

He's incredibly attractive. The giddy happy rushes and glows to my private parts tells me this. My only qualm with the character is the semi contrivance that he has all this links that go way back in some cases and likely more links to come but hey ho that's the shortcuts of TV soaps I guess. Pitching Kim against Ronnie could be interesting or very cringe depending how they do it! ? Personally I'm much more drawn to the idea of Denise versus Ronnie rather than Kim!

I must be alone as I don't like the character and I don't find him attractive either. He doesn't seem to connect well with Donna, who is supposedly his sister. I am fed up of love triangles so cannot buy into his relationships with Kim and Ronnie, I just find it boring.

You'd kick him out of bed given the opportunity if he begged you to let him in or you'd reluctantly submit to his amorous wishes? ? I must confess I always thought he was a stand up comedian type ,I never realised he was an actor.

I think Vincent is an excellent character. A good mix of uncertainty about his motives and loyalties. I always like it when you never quite know what someone is about rather than those characters who have a personality transplant overnight to suit poor storylines.

Well he has now set his sights on The Albert so we will see how that plays out!

I didn't really get the conversation he was having at Phil's house. Why are they letting Vincent having whatever he wants from them? Is it because of Carl?

Yes, it seems that he knows too much which could be dangerous to them so as a means of keeping him totally quiet and to draw a line under everything they have offered him anything he wants. For a minute I thought he was going to ask for Ronnie.

I like him, I think Richard Blackwood meshes quite well, his love triangle with Ronnie and Kim is naff but I guess there trying to get him established, I think the R&R would of suited him better, but I guess that no longer exists.

I'm confused too about whether or not the R&R still exists unless I've missed something?
