This song brings out a deep and unfathomable rage in me. I loathe it, always have done, but have no idea why smiley-huh Oh yes! My local radio station recently went through a stage of playing this all the time and just the intro sent me twitchy. The Riddle is another one they go through phases of overplaying that makes me start to twitch as well. And not in a good way.

I also have to give an honorary mention to Hey Jude. I actually don't dislike the song per se, but the moment Paul McCartney trundles out on a live stage at any major event, I just know I'm about to lose approximately two weeks of my life to endless la-la-las.
I just want to bellow at him ffs Macca, move it along, the Quo are up next and they're not getting any younger mate.

I like both of them songs... I find I end up with the Riddle stuck in my head for days after, which is quite discombobulating when you can't stand the chuffing song. All I can say is after 8 very long years, thank feck I now have a car with a functioning CD player and iPhone connector. I can belt out my dubious musical tastes to my heart's content.

I love the Beatles and that but wheeling Macca out at every single major sporting, charity, or royal event going wears thin very quickly.

They probably only wheel him out as their running out of music legends to wheel out at big events. Most of the true greats have gone, who else could they bring out? I'd rather listen to Hey Jude at every event for the rest of my life than them drag Bieber/ some Cowellised X factor Got Talent reject out. Just wait until their trundling Adele out on her zimmer frame screeching out Someone Like You at every big do, you'll be begging for Macca to return with his la la la las .

Similarly to Centerfold, I also loathe that "sit down next to me" song. It's his voice

I have an irrational hatred for the Beautiful South/House Martins (it's the bloke's voice).
I dont 'get' Morrissey.
There was a song I despised in 2002 (so Google tells me) by 'Everything but the Girl' which went "and I miss youuuuu, like the deserts miss the rain..."
Oh, and The Corrs.

That guy out of the BS owns a pub in Salford now... A real ale pub just near town... kingsarmssalford.com/index.php?id=2But yeah... I don't like his voice or his songs... I do get Morrisey though... I love that song by EBTG, good memories... I saw the Corrs live back in the 90's... I'll never get that time back...
