Have seen a snippet of tonight’s episode and it’s a classic task: TV Shopping Channel. When this has been done in previous years it’s been excellent television.

Well, tonight's episode is painful... very painful indeed. Watching Kadija and Tom sell products on the TV shopping channel was cringe... Tom looked like a right clown.

Classic Apprentice.
Tom was trapped by the mouthy cow Jackie.
Lord Sugar seems to have eventually worked it out and now he needs to fire at least 2 of the women because they are not the type of people anyone wants to do business with.

Someone needs to tell Abi Franklin that she has a long lost sister called Camilla. She looks just like Abi.
Yes, I hate aggressive leadership as Karen said.

Their online selling techniques were absolutely awful tonight. Jackie's game plan and she definitely had one has backfired on her. Shame though as I thought her a worthy candidate. LS does know about their Business Plans in advance was more or less revealed tonight. He is only interested in small concerns which can be developed. So Daniel is the last man standing and so far we haven't a clue what is business is. He looks like Kush in EE. Maybe he wants to sell tatty gear on a market stall just like LS did.

Well, it's safe to say Tom's luck finally ran out ... about bloody time! I knew his team was going to lose as soon as he was confirmed as Project Manager again (it appears Jackie knew, too!). I loved the way Sugar fired him on the spot without barely saying a word. Well done. He left Sugar no choice really considering he'd lost three tasks on the bounce. Surprised Jackie was fired, though... She probably did have a gameplan... but I still thought it was a bit harsh to fire her. Her business plan actually sounded quite good I thought. But Sugar wasn't having any of it tonight... Looks like you got the double firing you were hoping for, Roverman...

Yes and I loved every moment of it. I’m not sure the last time he fired someone instantly without even any discussion.
The “confirmed sales” bit annoyed me and demonstrated how the outcome was in the lap of the gods. The best team could have done a great promo, some great live performances and still lost because Bill from Basildon and Stacey from Stafford changed their minds!
Could not believe it when the three walked back in and Jackie immediately started talking. Old Sugar doesn’t normally allow that but I think he saw the way her “pitch” was going and allowed her to carry on because it allowed him to funnel questions about their plans. It seems to me he knows the bare details and then wants them to pitch it to him and he was right about Jackie, she’s not a small concern that he can upsize to a large 1 million a year set up, she’s already doing very well and really only wanted him for the prestige.
Nearly fell off my chair when Karen talked about agression, she’s a fine one to talk!
One last task before the interviews and it’s back to food;manufacture and selling of Christmas chocolates, which must have been fun, during the hottest summer we’ve had for 500 years!

One of the most cringeworthy episodes ever. Was surprised that Jackie was fired but as everyone says, Lord Sug knows which business plans he is interested in right from the start so some are kept on for good telly and others no matter how badly they perform, remember the inventor that lost every task but was still hired, will go on to the end. Kadidja is deluded if she thinks she is good with people and pitches well and I would rather have seen her go than Jackie. Daniel for me is the least worse of a bad bunch but Lord Sug seemed interested in the 22 year old and her dairy free nut bars although I am sure they are already out there somewhere.

Given the last two female winners have done food and drink businesses (cakes and sweets by post) maybe he’s thinking he can corner the market in allergy free milk through the letterbox!
On some levels I think Sugar is a bit of a cheeky sod with this new version of the Apprentice. All he provides is £250k and expects a 200% return on his money. At least with the original premise he had to provide an actual job within his company.
£250k is chump change to him and with the returns being made on the previous businesses (I think almost all of them are now churning out £1million+) he’s getting to the stage where he can use the profits from earlier ones to fund the new ones and therefore not have to actually dip into his savings account.
From what he was saying last night his mindset seems to be that he can take businesses from small concerns to large corporate operations fairly easily but would struggle to make a big business super big, which if you read his biography is correct, once Amstrad cornered the market in cheap hifis and computers he floundered and went into the game of sticking his name on any old tat (cordless phones, portable TVs) and it didn’t work very well. His saving grace was getting into a partnership with Sky to make their digiboxes and then selling them the Amstrad firm. Had he not done this I think he would actually be poorer now.

I love all the jokes and puns from Lord Sugar.
Workers not shirkers. Winners not whingers. Prosecco on a hen night.

I preferred the old version of the Apprentice. The show use to be about preparing candidates for working at Alan Sugar's company as his apprentice and that meant performances in tasks really did matter...
In the new 'business apprentice' version, it seems you can keep dodging the sack if you have a good business plan regardless of your performance levels in tasks...

Nice of Alan to mention Del Boy tonight. Mange Tout. This means both Alan Sugar and Del Boy have referred to each other as Del Boy said "Alec Sugar" in the 2014 Only Fools sketch. I suppose Del Boy thinks a former landlord of The Rovers is called "Alan Gilroy" then.

Thought Sarah Anne was unlucky to get fired. Granted, she did produce crap chocolate, but ultimately it was the shitty branding of the product that lost them the task. The client didn't even want to order ANY of their chocolate! And I'm not sure that was down to the bad taste! They said the brand was sexist! I mean what was Daniel thinking when he came up with the name "Santa's Choco Seduction"?! He makes Santa Claus sound like a horny old sex pest! Bizarrely Camilla said she loved the name... only Sarah seemed to question how inappropriate the name was. And then the two of them ganged up on Sarah in the board room and blamed her for the failure of the task... At this point, Daniel is the golden boy and won't get fired due to his strong performances in the previous tasks, which is fair enough. So I thought Camilla should've got fired instead. She was the project manager and should've dismissed Daniel's sleazy name for the product right away. Instead, she went along with it and was pretty ineffective and useless in the task. Furthermore, the labelling on the chocolate box wasn't very good and she didn't seem to think it was a big deal for some reason... I think Camilla is one of those candidates who flatter to deceive, to be honest. I don't think she's on the same level as Daniel and Sian; even Sabrina, and tonight proved that. Next week we have the interviews.. my prediction is Kadija will be fired next. She is the most incompetent candidate left and I'm surprised she hasn't been fired yet. I don't expect Camilla to survive much longer either, so I think she will get fired, too, when it comes down to the Final Two. Same goes for Sabrina, but I think she has an outside chance of making the final due to her sheer perseverance (even if she has the voice of a 9 year old ). I'm convinced the Final Two will be Daniel and Sian. I think Daniel is a shoe-in at this point (unless his interviews go disastrously wrong). As for Sian, it depends how well she performs in her interviews and if her business plan makes any sense. I noticed her melting down into tears (again) during her interview in the trailer for next week's episode, so that doesn't bode well for her. If she performs badly, that could leave the door open to another candidate. It's going to be interesting.

Sugar is not as brutally honest as he once was, he seems to have softened and is much more politely honest. He also has a bit of banter with the candidates in the boardroom.
