Sugar is not as brutally honest as he once was, he seems to have softened and is much more politely honest. He also has a bit of banter with the candidates in the boardroom. Me and my big mouth. He is in insult mood tonight. !!!!!

Gutted for Daniel... I really wanted to see him and Camilla in the final... Instead we got Tefal Heed with her knitted swimwear... At fifty pound a pop...
Yeah right...

The interviews seemed a bit tamer this year, especially mouthy trousers Linda who was almost polite at one stage last night (Mum wondered if there had been quiet words following last year?) as per usual Claude reverted to type where he falls back on his tried and tested methods of being cautious and doing hours of research on the candidate, rather than having an instinct or opinion about someone.

Okay... I wasn't expecting that. Thought Daniel was a shoe-in for the final! He didn't do so badly in the interview process, so I thought he was still a strong favourite to make the final. Sugar's reasons for firing him were unclear. Was it his business plan? Or was it because he exaggerated his company's standing? Not sure. He seemed to take issue with Daniel describing his business as the "fastest growing company". Sugar just didn't seem open to working with Daniel for whatever reason. Shame really.
Camilla's business plan appears to appeal more to him even though he threw cold water on it and criticised aspects of it. He seems to prefer building a business up from scratch, as opposed to investing in an already thriving business like Daniel's. I don't think Camilla is nearly as strong as Daniel (nor Sian) as a businessman/saleman though, so I'm a bif miffed by the result to be honest.
As for Sian, I think we all expected her to make the final. I actually don't think she's a clear favourite to win though, Camilla is going to step up her game now that she's in the final and it's going to be a close battle between them.

Oh yeah and what was Camilla thinking when she said "Yoo-hoo" to the interviewer?! Who the hell says "Yoo-hoo" at the start of an interview?! Was she drunk?!

Yoo-Hoo everyone
You would think Camilla would have gone to the hairdresser before an important interview which was being televised. 5 inches of black roots is not a good look. But I think Lord Sugar has had his eye on her nut jobs from the start and nobody else was ever going to win, despite how well they performed in tasks. I can't see the point of the fifty quid swim suits and there is already plenty of distributers out there. Looking forward to the final task and I may be wrong but I think Camilla is going to be hired.

Two of the girls I work with wear the same look. I reckon unless for something major going wrong Camilla has it in the bag.

Old Sugar has been trying to put us off by being disparaging to her about the product and the branding, but I feel that it fits the genre he’s moved into, that he loves small acorns that have the potential to grown massively and food/drink does seem to be his new passion, after technology and service industry.
Whilst it is currently very on trend to have the alternative diets I worry that the trend will drop and they will only be left with the core market of people who have the medical need to drink it.
Daniel’s product did seem more suited to Sugar’s business plan and he was genuinely impressed by the margins, the global expansion (even if Daniel doesn’t know where Australia is!) and the franchise model, this all shows business nous and it was right of Claude to praise those elements, however his “wide boy” attitude, especially when it comes to accuracy of statements made by him/the business, coupled with his theories about Advertising Standards made his outcome less secure. I think what clinched the decision was that the product is really aimed at drinkers and Lord Sugar just can’t be seen in that way, he’s a Lord and works with the BBC. It’s just too controversial.
The swimwear, again another start up, she’s literally only sold 400 units since launching and it’s very much a one person operation from a small room at home. Ideal for scaling up, but where she and Lord Sugar differ is on the costings and the price point of the items, she’s wants to blow the entire £250k on paying z list females to wear her stuff and presumably plug it on their social media pages.
So where’s the money for manufacturing, distribution, staffing?! Disappointing that she’s not thought it through. Also we are starting to find a lot of these celebs are being limited about what they can and can’t plug when they work for certain shows. So I can see that marketing avenue narrowing over time.
There’s also the question of her target market (students) and the median price point (£50), most students I know don’t have that kind of spare money. She needs to push up to the mid 20s when a lot of women are entering the workplace as graduates and earning more and generally have more disposable income. She mentions pool parties a lot so are these bikinis suitable for actual swimming in chlorinated water or just for sitting on the side drinking and sunbathing? People are not going to be happy if they spend £50 on a “designer” bikini that is destroyed the first time you get in the pool at your hotel in Majorca!

As expected, Sian is the winner of The Apprentice 2018... I bet she was glad to face Camilla in the final, instead of Daniel.
And remember, folks... if you need any swimwear... give Sian a call.

Well that was a bit of a turn up for the books as my money was on Camilla and her nut milk. Sian did show her creative skills tonight though when she created that design in minutes. A bit different for LS but good luck to them.

Congrats Sian. Sugar did call her the silent assassin earlier on in the series as she is quiet but takes everything in.
