The exact truth over Wicky's paternity was never 100% pinned down. Pat believed it was Brian but this is Pat we are talking about after all.

Slater shouting again................. Does Stacey realise that by chucking Kat out she is left with Tommy, Bert, Ernie and Cherry. Stupid woman! They are really building her up to be damn horrible before her exit.
Gray is such a lovely addition, please keep him that way but I have my doubts.
The so called fight between Martin and Kush was a bit of a damp squib and they made up just in time to find screeching Stacey yet again who then railroaded Martin indoors. Back to square one!
I don't give a toss about Adam and Habiba. Both of them are horrible characters. Who plans to pay £395,000 for a flat when they are cheating on their partner?
The week can only get better hopefully.
Oops yet again!!

So Mike Gibbon has gone. A shame because I liked his positive storylines and now we are going to see his creations be written out “just because” .

We are now into the arrival of the Mitchell Brothers. And Gibbon's creations are leaving one by one.
Cannot wait for 1992 as there are scenes I remember during original broadcast I want to see again such as Arthur throwing a leaflet across the room and Pauline chatting with Mark then him riding off on a motorbike for a outing. Pauline said "I have given you 24 years" and Mark asked for a few more days. Cannot remember what it was about.

It feels like April 1989 all over again, when we saw a lot of Julia’s creations slowly leaving. I for one cannot wait for Lord Michael Cashman’s novel next year in which he talks about his time on screen as Colin and why he exited so swiftly.

I wish they had stayed on past 1989 as consultants. After Den's supposed death, Tony and Julia had nothing more to do with EE whatsoever. I wonder if the pulling of Den falling into the canal was why they boycotted their show forever.
However their legacy would always remain. And as of 2019 we still have some of their ceations around such as Squeal, Shazza and Kathy.

A few months before joining Brookside as D-D Dixon Irene Marot is in today’s Classic Eastenders.

Always liked Big Ron, the extra who hung around the markets from 1985 to 1997. Ron Tarr died in 1997 and Big Ron was said to have won £500'000 and moved to Spain.

Another missed episode, Drama are claiming it’s lost. The last one was found on YouTube 12 hours later lol

All episodes ever made of EE exist, so Drama are wrong.
I read once that in 1984 though they did film a pilot episode but how true that is I am not sure. Never said as such in the Tony and Julia 1987 book.

Watching the 1990 episodes makes you realise just how different a character Phil was back then to what he is today.

We met Marcus Christie this week, and the lovely scene between him, Phil and Grant whereby they spun him a web of lies and he saw right through it!

Watching the 1990 episodes makes you realise just how different a character Phil was back then to what he is today. Not sure but I know they had to re do the first episode with a new Angie.

Now into 1991. Getting closer to 1992, and the arrival of Mandy and Tricky Dicky.
