She used to be a very good looking woman before she became a druggie.
Jessie Wallace on the other hand plays herself a lot in EE. Hence her endless nightclubbing escapades and temper tantrums, yet still keeps her job. Julia Smith and Tony Holland would have said "On your bike, here is your P45".

Just found out Elizabeth Kelly who played Auntie Nellie in Eastenders turned 102 this week.
Pretty sure they never killed her off, imagine if she’d been well enough to make an appearance at Dot’s funeral!!

Pretty sure they never killed her off, imagine if she’d been well enough to make an appearance at Dot’s funeral!! She has surpassed Anna Wing's age of almost 99 when she died. Nellie was also Lou's first cousin, I think she was bought in as the 2nd Lou replacement after Mo Butcher in 1988.

I would not read to much into this article. One thing is for sure EE is going no where anytime soon, whether the ratings are 1.8 million or 3 million, the BBC need to fill these slots, week in, week out, for 27 minutes 4 times a week. What are they going to replace it with? repeats of Garden Rescue and daytime fodder? Also without being too unkind the BBC have the imagination of a gnat when it comes to commissioning and scheduling programmes.
We all know EE is on the up in terms of content and they have steadied the decline which is all we can hope for. EE will be here until at least 2030.
It has also made the BBC loving Daily Mail and Express. At least it will take the heat of the beleaguered itv and Channel 4 for a few days.
I think the BBC have bigger fish to fry right now than worrying about EE. If reports are to be believed again in The sun, there is going to be another S**T storm to hit the corporation.

I read this on DS earlier. Right wing newspapers trying to get the boot in! EE viewing has increased numpties! if you take the the 7.30 episodes plus the iPlayer figures together they are increasing due to the better direction this Soap is getting with CC at the helm. A lot of younger folks watch the early 6am release episodes on iPlayer. To say that Corrie & ED are better is a complete joke! Apparently the Metro has come out to dispute their ridiculous comments.

I'm on holiday this week and taking care of a friend's dog whilst she is sunning herself in Menorca. I happened to go on DS Soaps to see what they were saying about EE and there was an almighty aggro session going on between one of our old moderators Scrabbler and Ryan who is a very vocal and good poster. It was very heated and the end result is that Ryan has been permanently banned from the forum and there haven't been any posts from Scrabbler tonight so I'm thinking he has maybe had the same or at least a timed ban.
Talk about daytime drama! Needless to say the DS Mods have deleted the whole conversations.
