what American to shows do you like to watch?
Currently I like Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory and athe Good Wife. I just went through That 70s show on Netflix which is the first time I have ever watched it. It was okay.
am looking forward to the next series of Orange is The New Black in June.
Past shows I enjoyed were Frasier, Friends, Buffy, Lost and Cheers.

Currently I am watching Revenge (E4) and How To Get Away With Murder (Universal). Murder In The First (series 1 recently finished)
US shows in the past I enjoyed were:-
+ Dexter + True Blood + Buffy The Vampire Slayer + Six Feet Under
Watched Season One of True Detective and thought it was good if a tad overrated. I'll tune in to see what Season Two is like.

At the moment, I'm totally immersed in The Walking Dead. It'll be an agonising wait until October, when S6 starts!
Buffy is my ultimate favourite TV show. I pretty much know it inside out but still never get tired rewatching.
Honourable mentions to Friends, Charmed, American Dad, Family Guy too. I dip in and out of The Big Bang Theory, I've got to be in the mood to watch it because some of the characters start to really get on my nerves if I watch it too much (I'm looking at you, Penny and Amy).

I liked the first couple of series of HIMYM but then it got tiresome, I kept with it though and was thoroughly disappointed with the last episode. I despise Robin with a passion and wish they had axed her after the first couple of series because it would have kept things fresh rather than having her and Ted go round in circles. There are times when I don't mind her/actually quite like her, but then there's always the other side where she just grates on me. I've always disliked Penny though, but then I hated her in Charmed. Hmmm, maybe I have some sort of subconcious issue with Kaley Cuoco...

I never watched charmed, but did see her in 8 simple rules which I would occasionally watch if there was nothing on even though it was really shit.

I've got Netflix free for 6 months and have whizzed through Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, The Killing and Homeland. Breaking Bad is the best by a mile and Homeland is the funniest but that isn't actually a compliment as it is supposed to be serious drama.
My guilty pleasures are Pretty Little Liars and Revenge. Both are really good watches and not remotely taxing,
Comedy wise I've watched and loved Friends, the Simpsons and Big Bang but the daddy of em all is Family Guy in my opinion of course.
ETA I've just seen someone mention the Walking Dead. Completely forgot about that and I love it.

My brother went through a phase of watching Homeland so I ended up kind of watching some of it by default, but I was always distracted by Claire Danes' utterly crazy facial expressions!! That was the only thing I could focus on a lot of the time.

I'm watching Gotham. Love the look and feel of it. No idea who half the people in it are supposed to be though!

I love your sig MsW!! I only liked Faith in season 7 when she turned good though, I hated her in season 3! American shows, my choices would be: Buffy The Simpsons (up to season 15 or so, before they went rubbish) Angel Ringer Not big on American tv shows really other than those 4, I think I'm the only person alive who has never seen Friends
