I sometimes watch Tales of the Unexpected now when they're on. Watched them the first time round and I have a book of the stories. I have to say though that the TV shows look dreadfully dated now! I always remember the one where the woman bashed someone with a frozen leg of lamb and killed them then made a roast dinner with it ! You ought to read it Lou, it's brilliant then with all the detail. My favourite one too.

I used to like Tales of The Unexpected too. I remember in 1980 the BBC had a week of 'Kitchen Sink' films. And I was captivated by them so much. Films like A Taste of Honey, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning, A Kind of Loving etc. I loved them all so much I now have all the DVD`s which I still watch. In the 60`s when they first appeared, they were very groundbreaking in its day. I was also a fan of the 'Meet The Huggets' films. *cough*they`re shown on YouTube*cough*. The first one Holiday Camp was brilliant.

I must`ve been born at the right age, because there were some some brilliant shows on during the 1970`s that I still love today...... Upstairs Downstairs, The Duchess of Duke Street, Edward Vllth, Lillie, etc etc. To this day I can enjoy them all on my DVDs. Isn`t technology wonderful.
